Byline: Lisa JonesTHE BILL ITV1 8.00pm IS this the end of the line for maverick copper Mickey Webb? He and Robbie finally find some evidence on paedophile Ron Gregory, who the cops at Sunhill have been trying to nail for months.
But Gregory turns the tables and kidnaps them both. The end is about to come for them in a gruesome death cooked up by big Ron.
But the poor old bug-a-lugged Mickey is told to take his holiday immediately and decide whether he still wants to work at Sunhill.
Still all in a day's work for the coppers at ITV's most famous station.
The Bill went through a really bad patch a few years ago, but now you will find it consistently watchable, gripping and often surprising.
