TV JET TO MARRY; Gladiator beauty's new man.
GLADIATORS star Jet is to marry a television executive after a whirlwind romance.The stunning brunette's new man George Mayhew proposed during a romantic holiday in the Maldives.
The pair met after she dumped her Gladiator co-star boyfriend, Hunter. He is now involved with Ulrika Jonsson, the show's presenter.
"We'd only been together four months when George proposed," said 25-year- old Jet - real name Diane Youdale. "But I knew he was a complete one-off. Not that I've slept with the whole world, I haven't had a lot of boyfriends, but he is different."
George, 26, who works at London Weekend Television, said: "I often work late at night, but I've got a motorbike so I can cut through the traffic to see her quickly. And believe me, she's worth it."
Jet, who has battled against the eating disorder bulimia, split up with Hunter after he accused her of being a workaholic.
The remark made her spend more time socialising, which is when she met George.
Superfit Jet - who has just released a pounds 10.99 video called Diane Youdale's Dance Aerobics - says she is pleased about Ulrika and Hunter's relationship.
"I wasn't surprised they got together," she said.
"Ulrika is a sassy, beautiful and intelligent woman. They're well-suited. I wish them all the best."
