THE Racehorse Owners' Association is providing its members with the opportunity to join four new racing partnerships.The scheme, set to be launched at Sandown on Friday week, is the brainchild of ROA council member Chris Brasher, and represents the organisation's first venture into the world of
co-ownership.
The plan is to form two partnerships for the Flat and the same number for National Hunt, with each syndicate represented by two horses.
Each partnership will comprise 20 shares at pounds 3,000 each with an additional charge of pounds 175 per month to cover training fees, vets' costs and other routine bills.
The Flat trainers involved are John Gosden and Mark Johnston, with Nicky Henderson, Martin Pipe and Venetia Williams over jumps. The last two named will receive one horse each.
