First steps for Peintre Celebre foal.

Among the first northern hemisphere foals sired by 1997 Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe winner Peintre Celebre is this bay colt, born on January 12. He stands with his dam Dinka Raja, who is by Woodman out of the Sadler's Wells mare Miss Profile, a half-sister to triple Grade 1 winner Kostroma and Prix Saint-Alary heroine Grise Mine. Peintre Celebre, who covered a handful of mares to southern hemisphere time in the autumn of 1998, had a book of 120 mares for his first stint to northern hemisphere time.
