The US-based e-business software developer Computer Associates International Inc (CA) has expanded its Unicenter family of e-business infrastructure management systems with Unicenter 3.0 Network and Systems Management (NSM).

Designed to enable companies to manage the health and availability of their heterogeneous e-business infrastructure, version 3.0 of Unicenter NSM provides improved dynamic 2D and 3D visualisation to speed problem resolution and reduce IT training costs.

Other enhancements include new management portals for the delivery of job-specific information to IT staff, new event correlation and root-cause analysis technologies and an ability to manage the health and performance of several server cluster solutions.

Unicenter 3.0 NSM is priced under CA's new simplified tiered-server pricing model that separates pricing from the deployment architecture.
