9th Concourse Geza Anda for Pianists.
The 9th Concourse Geza Anda for Pianists will take place June 12-24, 2003, in Zurich. This event, established to find and promote young pianists who will propagate the musical spirit of the late Gdza Anda, awards the winner CHF 30,000 and gives the winner multiple solo performances with orchestras in numerous cities throughout Europe.Second- and third-prize winners receive CHF 20,000 and CHF 10,000, respectively. Other awards include thee Mozart Prize of the Musikkollegium Winterthur, the Geza Anda Audience Prize, the Schumann Prize and others.
