Wayne Strongman.
Wayne Strongman, Managing Artistic Director of Toronto-based Tapestry New Opera Works, was inducted as a Member of the Order of Canada for his innovative contributions to music as Tapestry founder, as a champion of Canadian composers and as the long-time volunteer choral director for the Regent Park School of Music. Strongman has served on both the Ontario Region and the National Council of the Canadian Music Centre and was honored in 2009 as one of 50 CMC Ambassadors for his dedication to the performance of music by Canadian composers.
