Waiting lists see a drop.
Byline: By GREG TINDLE South Wales EchoThe number of patients waiting more than 12 months for hospital treatment is the lowest on record. The latest NHS figures for Wales reveal just 214 people have been waiting more than a year for a hospital bed. And a massive drop has been recorded in the number of patients waiting more than 12 months for an outpatient appointment, although there are still 4,000 in the queue.
A spokesman for the assembly government said the figures showed Wales was on target to meet the 12 months waiting times deadlines by the end of March.
