Sticking to the England cause; HEDNESFORD.
PETE Mason is sticking by England in the World Cup by creating a massive portrait of David Beckham out of 13,000 stamps.The football-crazy artist spent a month creating the huge 7ft x 8ft picture of the team captain with the winners' trophy.
Pete, from Hednesford, Staffordshire, said: "I am a big football fan and will be right behind the team so I thought I would create something to show my dedication to the cause.
"I like Beckham and like what he stands for. I think he will lead the team well in the World Cup and I hope my picture will be the image we see in the tournament.
"I used a stamp of Bobby Moore lifting the trophy in 1966 in Beckham's eye." The 62-year-old father-of-two, who works part-time as an arts teacher, has now written to the FA to see if they want to see his work.
