Raft race on river.

INTREPID teams of between four and 10 people are being invited to take part in a 7 1/2 - mile charity raft race on the River Avon next month.

Organised by the Wellesbourne and District and Shakespeare Lions clubs, in aid of the Children's Liver Disease Foundation, the event will see teams travel from Wasperton to Stratford on Sunday, June 25.

Entrants will have to build their own raft before tackling the river.
