Fame (Channel 4, tonight, 6.05pm) Remake of the classical drama about 10 students at the New York School of Performing Arts. They include a classical pianist and a rapper with a tragic past. Student Naturi Naughton steals the show.

Made of Honor (Five, tonight. 9.15pm) A seasoned womaniser realises he's in love with his best friend, but has never initiated a romance because of his fear of commitment. However, she returns from a business trip to Scotland hand in hand with a new fiance, which leaves him determined to ensure the wedding doesn't go ahead.

Slumdog Millionaire (Film4, Monday, 9pm) A teenager from the Mumbai slums is only one question away from winning the Indian version of Who Wants To Be A Millionaire? However, the authorities refuse to believe that a youngster from such a background could succeed without cheating, and interrogate him in search for an explanation.
