APPALLING conditions and impressive play by the home team left Lichfield well beaten and still bottom of Jewson Division Two North.

Sedgley Park, aided by the strong wind, scored a flurry of first-half tries and led 27-5 at half time.

Despite the help of the wind in the second half Lichfield failed to recover, mustering only a consolation try as Sedgley Park scored two further tries and a conversion. Their try-scorers were Mike Wilcock (two), Paul Morris, Simon Goesbury, John Duncan a nd Rob Smith who kicked three conversions and a penalty.

Richard Randolph and James Mitchell got tries for Lichfield.
