THE Racing Posttoday launches a new online bookshop showcasing titles from its publishing arms Raceform and Highdown.
In addition to Racing Post merchandise and downloadable versions of the Racing Post, the site offers users special discounts and ease of use.
The site, which uses a Barclays-approved processor to ensure transactions are secure, allows visitors to purchase books such as the recently released Moscow Flyer as well as the Racing PostExpert Series, diaries and desk calendars, delivered within three days of ordering.
Downloadable reports and pdf files of racing and sports betting pages are also available from 9am on the day of publication. The site can be accessed at www.racingpost.co.uk/shop
TONY GARDINER-HILL, father of BHB handicapper Dominic and a popular figure on the southern tracks, died on Sunday after a long illness. He was 65.
The funeral will be held at Guildford Crematorium on Tuesday at 1.30. Family flowers only please, but donations can be made to the Moorcroft Racehorse Welfare Centre.
NOEL MEADE is the new chairman of the Irish Racehorse Trainers' Association having been elected unopposed at the agm of the association on Tuesday.
