BUCKIE THISTLE outclassed Forres on their way to a comfortable win.In a managerial battle between two of Scotland's football heavyweights, Duncan Shearer triumphed over ex-Dons boss Steve Paterson.
Thistle took the lead in 34 minutes when the ball broke to John Coutts and his pass was met by Stuart McGuigan who drove the ball into the bottom corner of the net. McGuigan bagged his second seven minutes after the break when he tapped home a Franny More cross from two yards out.
The Jags rounded off a fine afternoon with a third coming from the penalty spot with two minutes remaining.
Coutts was brought down and Paul Lamberton duly blasted the penalty straight down the middle
