Football: Girls take place in football's history; CALENDAR: University team recreate evocative moments to raise sponsorship.

A WOMEN'S football team in Birmingham has recreated some of the most memorable moments - good and bad - from the "beautiful game" over the past 40 years.
The University of Birmingham women's football team has created its own calendar using images such as Maradona's infamous Hand of God goal against England and David Beckham's equaliser against Greece that earned passage to the 2002 World Cup finals.
Sales of the calendar will go to support T-Mobile's first-year sponsorship of the University Sport Birmingham's women's football team.
The cash will help pay for kit, soccer coaches and travelling costs.
The team, which plays in the northern premier division of the British Universities Sports Association league, used West Bromwich Albion's Hawthorns ground for the photo-shoot.
The evocative images have been cheekily renamed, such as The Hand of Goddess and Bend it like Beckie.
Other pictures range from the moment Bobby Moore lifted the 1966 World Cup and Stuart Pearce celebrating his successful penalty in Euro '96, to Gazza in tears after being booked in the 1990 World Cup semi-final.
Photos have also been blown up into posters for distribution around the university's Edgbaston campus, as well as the flats of male students.
Team captain Lydia Fenny, aged 20, who is studying for a biological sciences degree, said: "It was a brilliant day at the Hawthorns and it was really good fun."
Lydia, who re-enacted Maradona's Hand of God goal for Argentina in the 1986 World Cup, added: "The idea was to raise sponsorship for this year, but we have also been given some to sell around the campus."
Help is badly needed as the Birmingham University team is lying second from bottom of its league and facing relegation.
T-Mobile head of sponsorship, Toby Hester, said they were hoping to recreate West Bromwich Albion's Great Escape campaign when they avoided relegation from the Premiership last season.
