Complaint.

Brandon, you keep me awake, turning

the whole house into a lover. You

and your men, your sighs through

the heating duct. Its wide moaning throat

calls to my bedroom over yours.

Years after you move away this house

will remember you: Brandon who made

the joists ache, the rafters tremble

with the trembling of his aching body.

Brandon of the first floor, may you always

rock houses. I do not complain

lest the sounds of your pleasures

grow too soft to keep me awake.
