Bloodstock Briefing: Bahri sires first Pattern winner in Classic trial.

BAHRI sired his first Pattern winner on Saturday when Sakhee landed the Group 3 Thresher Classic Trial at Sandown. The Shadwell Farm stallion is also responsible for Monday's six-furlong Kempton conditions winner May Contessa, a half-sister to 1999 Temple Stakes winner Tipsy Creek.

nBISHOP OF CASHEL and Spectrum have opened their account as sires in Italy with newcomers. Bishop Of Cashel's daughter Episkopas struck at San Siro, Milan, on Saturday and Spectrum's son Blu Air Gun was on target in a maiden at the Capannelle, Rome, the following day.
