'Love boat' recipe.
ADVENTUROUS cooks will be given the chance to learn how to make a Chinese edible love boat as part of the Coventry Food Festival on July 10.The Wing Wah Chinese Restaurant, in Fletchamstead Highway, will be providing a demonstration at 2pm.
The boat is made out of melon and contains a Chinese starter and two Chinese main courses.
It is designed to be an intimate meal for two and has been dubbed the "Love Boat."
Other festival attractions include a Coventry Chef of the Year competition, a schools cookery competition, demonstrations from celebrity chef James Martin and a comedy pizza delivery man. The festival will run from 10.30am until 4.30pm in the Upper Precinct in the city centre.
