Hendry has a horror.
STEPHEN HENDRY is bracing himself for the worst result of his glittering snooker career.The former world No.1 was humiliated by fellow Scot Marcus Campbell, the 73rd best player on the planet, in the UK Championship in Bournemouth last night.
Dumbarton ace Campbell leads 8-0 overnight and needs to win the first frame today to record a whitewash.
Hendry has never been whitewashed in a match lasting more than nine frames, but yesterday nothing went right for him and he scored just 33 points in the last six frames as Campbell racked up 510.
The six-times world champion's best break of a stunning session was a 32 to begin the night.
Larkhall's Graeme Dott and Glaswegian John Lardner crashed out of the tournament, winning just one frame between them.
Lardner lost 9-0 to Ken Doherty, while Dott crashed 9-1 in round two to Alan McManus' conqueror Michael Holt.
