GOTH GIRLS CHEER LUKE; Fans frenzy as Jodi killer gets 20 years in jail.
Byline: FRANK HURLEYSICK Goth groupies cheered Satanic killer Luke Mitchell yesterday as he was sentenced to serve at least 20 years behind bars for murdering Jodi Jones.
The three teenage girls shouted and waved at Mitchell, 16, when he was led in handcuffs from the High Court in Edinburgh.
They shouted "Luke, Luke" but the cold-blooded killer did not respond to his twisted cheerleaders as he was hurried into a waiting security van.
The girls also held up a poster which described Mitchell as "sexy".
Bystanders near a side entrance to the court were sickened that he was given pop star-style adulation.
Mitchell was 14 when he slashed his 14-year-old gilfriend's throat and mutilated her body in a lane near Dalkeith, Midlothian, in June 2003.
