FOOTBALL: Craig on his way.

ROSS COUNTY will try to bring Livingston hitkid Craig Feroz to Dingwall on loan this week after dropping their interest in Raith Rovers striker Paul Tosh.

Boss Neil Cooper sees the 22-year-old as a possible answer to their goal shortage after his hopes of securing striker Tosh were dashed when the Kirkcaldy club insisted he wouldn't move on loan.

Cooper said: "I don't think we'll pursue Tosh any further because the whole deal is quite expensive. We still need to strengthen up front and I hope to bring Craig here on loan."

Meantime, Dumbarton have signed Ayrshire stopper Chris Robertson until the end of next season.

The 18-year-old brother of Ayr United star John Robertson will slot into the Division Three promotion chaser's central defence.
