Big quiz winner gets pounds 70,000 and a year off.

A MOTIVATION expert won a year off work with double his salary in the BBC's Millennium quiz last night.

John Mitchell, 43, beat 1600 other contestants to scoop the top prize in the 2000 to 1 television quiz.

Self-employed personal development coach John said he would use the pounds 70,000 prize to travel abroad during his year off.

He added: "I'm absolutely stunned. I plan to fulfil my ultimate dream by travelling to Fiji and Tahiti and generally take life easy."

John, from Coulsdon, Surrey, won after his fellow finalist wrongly answered a tie-breaker question in the grand final of the quiz.
