BROSNAN: WORKING ON A BOND FILM WITH TERI HATCHER WAS.. DESPERATE; 007 tells of rows with Housewife.

PIERCE Brosnan has told how he feuded with Desperate Housewives star Teri Hatcher when they filmed a James Bond movie together.

Brosnan admitted rowing with Hatcher, claiming she kept him waiting around on the set of Tomorrow Never Dies.

He said: "I got very upset with her on the set. She was always keeping me waiting for hours.

"I must admit I let slip a few words which weren't very nice."

The 51-year-old told Italian Vanity Fair he later found out Hatcher had been suffering from morning sickness - but he did not appear to feel too guilty.

He added: "Then it came out one morning that Teri was pregnant and she hadn't been feeling very well - still these things happen."

Hatcher shot to fame as Lois Lane in The New Adventures Of Superman but her career stalled after playing Bond girl Paris Carver in the 1997 movie until finding fame again in Desperate Housewives.

The show has been plagued by rumours of bitchiness between Hatcher and co-stars Eva Longoria, Marcia Cross, Nicolette Sheridan and Felicity Huffman.

The Mirror told how a US Vanity Fair photoshoot turned to chaos with Cross raging when Hatcher was posed in the middle of the five women.

Cross and Huffman later didn't attend a birthday party for Hatcher, who won a Golden Globe for her performance in the show.

The Irish actor also revealed his pain at losing his coveted 007 role after four films describing it as "torture".

He said: "Losing Bond hurt me like mad. It was a shock, painful and unexpected.

"I was sure that if I made a fifth film, I knew it would be my last, and my life problems all revolved around this certainty.

"Then one bad day I had a telephone call. Dropped. Telling my wife Keely and friends was torture."

Brosnan was dumped by Eon Productions after allegedly demanding a massive pay increase on the EUR16million he received for Die Another Day.

Layer Cake star Daniel Craig and Clive Owen, Oscar-nominated for Closer, are tipped to be in the running for the role though insiders believe Brosnan could be rehired.
