DAILY Mirror columnist Richard Hammond is Jonathan's very special guest in the last show of his current run.

It's the Top Gear presenter's first TV appearance since his miraculous escape from that 280 mph smash in September.

He tells Jonathan what he remembers from the crash and its aftermath and his very real fears that the brain injury he suffered might have left lasting damage. "I was warned about things like personality change - but how would I know?" he explains.

Also on the show are Royle Family star Liz Smith, stand-up turned Hollywood actor Lee Evans and former Pulp frontman Jarvis Cocker performing Don't Let Him Waste Your Time.

And on a more Christmassy note, family favourites G4 lead a singalong of Two Little Boys.
