1. THE former EastEnders and Heartbeat star returns to the small screen on Monday playing undercover cop Liam Ketman in new BBC 1 series In Deep.2. FOOTBALL-MAD Nick is a West Ham supporter.
3. THE 38-year-old met his wife Rachel at drama school.
4. THEY have a house at Epping in Essex and a home in Hove, close to In Deep co-star Stephen Tompkinson and his wife, Nicci.
5. NICK'S favourite role is that of family man. He has two sons Louis, aged six, and three-year-old Finlay.
6. HE began his acting career at the age of eight in West End musical Oliver!
7. NICK runs his own company, Valentine Productions, named after his eldest son Louis Valentine.
8. THE company made TV drama Mystery of Men for the BBC.
9. HE played heart-throb Simon Wicks in EastEnders and topped the music charts with Every Loser Wins.
10. NICK says he would never rule out a return to the BBC 1 soap. He says: "You never know what's going to happen around the corner."
