UNDIE FIRM SACK' RAP; Tribunal girl's pounds 10k payout.

Byline: By MAGGIE BARRY

LINGERIE tycoon Michelle Mone was today ordered to pay pounds 10,680 to a worker she forced out of her firm for being pregnant.

Claire Woods, 29, won a two-year battle against MJM International lingerie after an employment tribunal found she was the victim of sexual discrimination.

Ms Woods, a supervisor at the firm's Govan call centre, said Mone let her change her hours to look after her first child. But she became hostile when Ms Woods revealed in 2004 she was expecting another baby, the Glasgow tribunal heard.

Michael Mone, Michelle's husband and the managing director, told Ms Woods she faced a pay cut and demotion unless she worked longer hours.

Ms Woods, of Portree, on Skye, said her treatment was so unbearable she had to leave her job - and the tribunal agreed.

She said: "People think Michelle Mone is this wonderful person. This shows she is not what she seems."
