THE RAZZ: MUSIC: Cheesy dance tunes sets Scottish chart apart.

Byline: John Dingwall

AH, Scotland's love of a cheesy dance tune gives us a different top five from the official UK chart this week.

While Tony Christie gets a number one on both sides of the border and McFly are number two in Scotland and in England, the Sunset Strippers' Falling Stars drops from two to three while in the UK as a whole it's number five. Elvis and Gwen Stefani have to make do with a Scottish four and five respectively, one place further down than in the UK as a whole.

Biggest surprise is the lowly hit for Shapeshifters.

They only make it to number 14 with Back To Basics while in the UK it's at number10.

Surely Scotland hasn't had too much cheese?
