Street's gay kiss.
CORONATION Street is set to screen the soap's first gay kiss in its 43-year history.Todd Grimshaw, played by Bruno Langley, 20, is to make a pass at his girlfriend's brother Nick Tilsley, played by 25-year-old Adam Rickett,after a drunken night out.
A Street spokeswoman said: ``Todd has been questioning his sexuality for some time.
``He makes a pass at Nick and leans forward to kiss him but it's not reciprocated. This is going to cause a number of problems for his girlfriend, Sarah.''
``The story line came naturally out of the character.
``It is being handled extremely sensitively.''
The scene will be shown on October 5.
