Starry-eyedLaura wins.

SCHOOLGIRL Laura Jenkins has plenty to smile about.

The 12-year- old from Dovecot, Liverpool, took centre stage as '50s star Connie Francis in the grand final of Stars in Their Eyes Kids Live on Saturday.

And she won easily after attracting a massive 156,000 votes for her electric performance of Where The Boys Are.

Laura was presented with her trophy by the show's host,Cat Dealey, and watched by mum Jeanette and dad Peter.

Laura follows in the footsteps of Southport performer Lewis Devine,13, who was '70s heart throb Donny Osmond last year.
