September is National Piano Month.

The National Piano Foundation (NPF) celebrates National Piano Month every September. This year's celebration will include Piano Connection, a series of ensemble performances on both acoustic and digital pianos. The performers will be pianists of all ages, and the celebrations will be held in retailers' music stores throughout the country.

These recorded performances will be looped together and played continuously during the MTNA National Conference next April in Seattle, Washington. Additionally, a pamphlet listing the name of each performing group, the teacher's name and the name of the sponsoring retailer will be given to attendees of the NPF/MTNA Group Teaching Track sessions during the conference.
