LIAM'S TEQUILA SUNRISE.
Troubled Oasis star Liam Gallagher is right back on song - and the sauce.The superstar who was hit by throat problems lubricated his vocal cords with Tequila before a gig in America.
The booze session obviously worked wonders as the band played a storming set in Detroit.
And the 10,000 fans were ecstatic that Liam, who walked out on the Britpop kings just as they were about to jet across the Atlantic, had decided to visit the Land of the Free after all.
Liam, who the night before had enjoyed a reunion bender with brother Noel at a hotel, didn't let them down.
As is normal, he spewed four-letter words at them.
Then Manchester City fan Liam traded insults with a fan wearing an Arsenal shirt.
Bouncers eventually ejected the fan, and Liam said to the audience:
"I hope that idiot in the Arsenal shirt gets run over by a juggernaut."
A barmaid at the hotel where Liam and Noel did their booze brothers act, spoke of her star customers.
Debbie Smith said they made a considerable dent in her tequila supplies.
She added: "I didn't think guys from England drank that much tequila.
"But they had jug after jug of it.
"They were also drinking something called woo-woo.
"It's a cocktail made from peach schnapps, vodka and cranberry juice.
"It makes you go `woo -woo' when you've had too many.
"But they were very well behaved."
Liam, who has also been dogged by psychiatric problems and difficulties finding a new house, swigged from a can of beer during the band's 90- minute performance.
He also took delight in slagging off "gum-chewing" Americans.
Oasis moved on last night to Toronto and a further 10 venues.
