LEICESTER SEEK A FREE DUTCH TREAT.

LEICESTER can land Barnsley central defender Arjan De Zeeuw on a free transfer after the relegated club refused to meet his pounds 6,000-a- week wage demands.

Foxes boss Martin O'Neill is keen to capture a replacement for Steve Walsh and has been keeping a close eye on the Dutch centre-back.

Now the way is clear for De Zeeuw to continue his Premiership career after failing to agree new terms at the end of his two-year stay at Oakwell. And Leicester will not have to pay a penny because the player is over 24 and can move to another English club for nothing under the Bosman ruling.
