JILL DANDO'S LAST TV SHOW GOES ON.
JILL DANDO will return to Britain's TV screens tomorrow night, more than four months after her murder. Her"last series, the Antiques Inspectors, will be shown on BBC 1 as a "final tribute to the TV presenter. The decision to go ahead with the shelved series, first revealed by The Mirror, has the approval of Jill's family and fiance Dr Alan Farthing.
The couple watched the first episode together the night before she was shot dead outside her London home.
In Antiques Inspectors Jill and a team of experts visit people's homes all over Britain in the hope of finding hidden treasures. Dr Farthing believes she would have wanted the remaining seven episodes shown.
He said last night: "As the last complete series she filmed, this will be a fitting tribute to one whose abilities and style were admired by so many."
Fellow "inspector" Tim Wonnacott said: "Now the public will be able to see how Jill enjoyed the last few weeks of her life."
