It's hair-raising for Ant and Dec.
Prime-time television duo, Ant and Dec have both made it into the respective top 10 lists featuring the worst and best examples of male celebrity hair grooming.Declan Donnelly made it to number nine on the best hairstyles chart, while fellow Geordie star Anthony McPartlin was unfortunately voted in at number 10 on the worst barnet scale.
However any bragging Dec is planning to direct at his best friend and on-screen other half over the Christmas dinner table may be shortlived, given that Dec was beaten by X Factor runners-up G4, among others including David Beckham and Charlie from Busted.
Meanwhile football wonderkid Wayne Rooney topped the list of the worst `do'.
He was followed by Ant and Dec's fellow jungle dweller, I'm a Celebrity's Fran Cosgrave, another X Factor star Tabby Callaghan and ginger-haired Chris Evans. G4's Matt Stiff, 24, Jon Ansell, 22, Michael Christie, 23, and Ben Thapa, 22, accepted their win in London yesterday ( although it must have been a small potatoes consolation given the fact they lost out on a million-pound record deal at the weekend.
Michael said: "Winning this is fantastic. We were surprised. On the X Factor they would spend hours doing our hair and make-up. Although we don't spend that much time on ourselves, it is important to look after your appearance."
He added: "We were gutted when we lost out on the show. But we never expected to get that far anyway.
"Our dream throughout the competition was to record an album and hopefully, that dream will come true."
