Holby's new top nurse is No Angel; Pick of The Day.

HOLBY CITY (8pm BBC1) REMEMBER Louise Delamere from the Channel 4 series No Angels? Seven years later she's nursing again, this time as Holby's new director of nursing Colette Sheward. She's not that yet though - she arrives in a taxi and out of uniform with a brain patient she wants Guy Self to operate on.

But if you've watched Holby at all, you'll know that medical staff don't just turn up and get all the best dialogue for no reason.

So rest assured that Colette will go through all the correct recruitment procedures before the episode is out (getting offered the job by Guy in the Holby car park, in other words).

But you're going to love Colette, I promise. She introduces herself to Harry by saying: "You just look pretty and leave the thinking to me," and then she tells Guy "You're an idiot," "man up" and "do something with your face".

From which you'll gather that her relationship with Guy is very different to Harry's brown-nosing or Digby's politeness.

Digby actually bows to his new CEO tonight which is adorable, in a slightly pathetic kind of way.

Serena, of course, is still smarting at the way Guy has pinched the job that was rightfully hers, but she's got her hands full elsewhere performing a rectal exam on a patient with something dodgy wedged up his jacksie.

How the mighty have fallen - she'll be emptying bedpans next week at this rate.
