Gosh you're love Leigh; New cosmetics queen reveals how being in spotlight has changed her life.

THESE exclusive photos show actress Leigh Arnold in her new role as Lady Gosh.

The striking 30-year-old actress has signed a deal to be the face of Gosh cosmetics.

Leigh said: "I was completely shocked and incredibly grateful as well - it's very exciting. I'm honoured to be the face of such a fabulous product, it's so sweet and elegant.

"It's got such a vast colour range compared to most high street brands and yet the products are still at affordable prices.

"Gosh products aren't tested on animals which is something that's very important to me and are also good for sensitive skin like mine."

Leigh's look was created by make-up artist Paddy McGurgan. The Dublin-born star added: "He just had a wonderful vision and it was great to see the transformation. One of the looks is quite summery and I almost felt like a fairy. You get to become a different character and the summer shoot is very feminine and pretty."

Leigh said her life has changed dramatically since she hit 30 last October and she now has different values from the lively twentysomething who was seen partying at Dublin's hottest spots on the arm of restaurateur Marcus Sweeney.

She added: "It really as a milestone of a birthday - I felt this one, it was a bit of an ouch.

"But it was a positive ouch. In my 20s, I didn't know me and a lot of people don't - you're making your mistakes in your 20s and I mean that in the nicest possible way.

"I have made many mistakes in life and I have made some positive choices, too, but you have to recognise those mistakes and realise why you made them. And then try not to do it again."

Which is why you won't see any details about Leigh's new guy in the papers. She is rumoured to be seeing her Charlie Casanova co-star Emmet Scanlan but all she will say is that he's a great guy and a good friend.

But she admitted there is someone bringing out that sparkle in her eyes. Leigh said: "It's exciting for me but no one else needs to know about it. I'd like to keep it that way for now."

This is one of the things Leigh has learned from her Marcus days, particularly after some embarrassing headlines. She added: "When I am ready to go public with something I will put myself out there but it's nice to spend time getting to know someone privately.

"You learn these things the hard way but I have no regrets about anything. I certainly don't think I would be so public about a relationship again or at least I'd try my best not to.

"I don't think I would be quite so open about my love life again. Not that I wasn't proud of being open about Marcus because we were together and we were very happy. But maybe we should have kept ourselves to ourselves. I was younger - that was a year ago - and I have learned an awful lot since then. I've kind of copped on and I have learned to know myself more. It was all very new to me being in the public eye and I didn't quite get it, I didn't quite get the boundaries.

"Now it's not that I am hiding anything, it's just sometimes you have got to learn to keep things more to yourself in the beginning because some things are precious.

"Then you end up getting to know someone for you and not through the papers. If a relationship gets into the public eye, the next thing is you're married off.

"You might have been seeing someone for a couple of weeks and the next thing, he's saying, 'I hear I am about to pop the question. I've only been on a few dates with you Leigh, how did this happen?' "That's embarrassing and it's no grounding for a healthy relationship. And you have to be respectful of the other person involved."

Leigh is taking part in TV3's Celebrity Salon where she'll battle it out against five other famous faces for the title of Best In Beauty. And it's a role wellsuited to her new Lady Gosh position, So what tips would Leigh have when it comes to looking good? She said: "We don't need to overdo the tan and the make-up to look beautiful.

It's all about taking care of your skin, eating healthily, drinking loads of water.

"Beauty comes from inside as well as outside. If you treat people with respect, you will always get that back.

"You need to be generous and kind and if people are being nasty about you, it's out of your control so don't give back the negative attitude.

"You get back what you give out into the world and I can't control what people say about me that's out of my hands.

"But you just have to be happy with what you have and grateful for it."
