Football: Loan deal shocker.
SCOTTISH and English clubs have been rocked by the news they can no longer boost their squads with loan stars.The news comes in the wake of the decision to disband the International Football League Board, whose members included the SPL, Scottish League and English Premiership, last week.
David Thomson,of the Scottish League, said: 'Due to the board being disbanded,a player could not be registered as being on loan with all the subsequent guarantees in place.'
Any footballers fancied by clubs would have to be registered as signed players. Scots clubs had wanted the board to continue
