Football: HENRY LOVES HOME MATCH.

THIERRY HENRY always looks at home on the ball - now football fans will see him on the ball at home.

In Nike's new commercial, launched across Europe on TV and in cinemas this Thursday, the French striker displays his full range of skills against a series of opponents - in his own house.

The idea for the ad was partly inspired by Henry himself, who revealed that he always has a football nearby, even at home.

In it, Henry pits his wits against stars such as Claude Makelele, Edgar Davids and Freddie Ljungberg in locations such as his bedroom and living room.

Fans across Europe can replicate Henry's exciting journey though his house at www. nikefootball.com, where they will find a new interactive game called Houseball.

Henry said: "I enjoyed making this advert and I'm delighted with the result. Every player loves to play wherever and whenever he has the chance and this ad captures the fun of that."
