OUTSPOKEN Welsh soccer pundit Mark Aizlewood was embroiled in a shock racist war last night as Wrexham lifted the FA Premier Cup and pounds 100,000 prize money at the Vetch.
A couple of strikes inside nine second-half minutes by scoring sensation by Lee Trundle and Mark McGregor clinched the silverware and pounds 100,000 of BBC prize money for the Robins in a tinderbox clash.
Fury erupted after just eight minutes as Swansea's Venezuelan Giovanni Savarese was sent packing by Holyhead referee Brian Lawlor for elbowing defender McGregor in the face.
And ex-Welsh international Aizlewood claimed: "It was cowardice on Savarese's part - but that's foreigners for you.
"If it was my team, I wouldn't have any foreigners in it!"
Ref Lawlor always struggled to control the gameand Swans' Kris O'Leary and Wrexham's Darren Ferguson and Brian Carey were also cautioned.
Lawlor left the pitch to a chorus of "cheat" and boos as home fans vented their anger.
And after the whistle security men and police had to throw a cordon around the medal ceremony to prevent further trouble as furious fans invaded the pitch
The Robins, 13 spots and 26 points above the relegated Swans in the Second Division, were always in control.
Swansea hung on, but four minutes into the second half they finally crumbled as Trundle netted from 10-yards.
And on 58 minutes Mark McGregor increased Swansea's misery as he nodded in a second.
Courageous Swansea tried to hit back as Chris Todd and Matthew Barnes went close.
