Brookie in nooky rap by television watchdog.
A RAUNCHY romp before the watershed on Merseyside soap Brookside earned Channel 4 a rebuke from a TV regulator. The Independent Television Commission ruled the scene between Max and Jacqui Farnham was "too explicit" for its time slot.
In the show, he was worried his partner had been hurt in a car crash and went to hospital to find her where they became involved in a clinch.
Channel 4 said the scene was more emotional than sexual, and the images were more of a prelude to lovemaking.
