The title of the program is: "Human Microchip Implantation: It's More Than Skin Deep."

The Company's subdermal VeriChip technology will be among the topics

explored during a panel discussion involving representatives from VeriChip Corporation, the CATO Institute, the Electronic Privacy Information Center (EPIC), and the Food and Drug Administration (FDA). The following panelists are expected to speak at the seminar:

The seminar is taking place just a few weeks after Applied Digital Solutions announced that the FDA had determined that VeriChip is not a regulated medical device for security, financial, and personal identification/safety applications. The Agency specified in its ruling that VeriChip is a regulated medical device for health information applications.

Following the FDA ruling, Applied Digital Solutions announced that it would immediately begin VeriChip marketing efforts in the United States.
