Annoni to sign today.
Celtic look poised to complete the signing of Italian defender Enrico Annoni from AS Roma in the next 24 hours in a deal worth pounds 300,000.The 30-year-old has undergone a medical and will play in Saturday's game at Fir Park against Motherwell.
If the necessary international clearance comes through in time, the Italian hardman will be eligible for the Tennents Scottish Cup old firm quarter- final against Rangers - if Celtic can beat Hibs in next week's fourth round replay.
Annoni won't have to wait long for his debut, replacing Alan Stubbs - who is suspended - against Motherwell.
