'Son shine' in new job.

RADIO star Annie Othen (above), is facing a tough new schedule... for the sake of her three-year-old son.

Annie, aged 35, is leaving her weekend Heart FM slot behind to return to Radio WM and present the drivetime show. But she also hosts a Radio Two show in the middle of the night.

She will get up at 1am for a 3am to 6am broadcast from Birmingham's BBC studio, dash home, and then return at lunchtime to prepare her new 4pm to 7pm WM slot.

She said: "It will be a nightmare, but it will work out well with my son Joel.

"I can be home in time to get him up and spend time with him in the daytime, then I'll be back again in the evening to put him to bed. It's a challenge but I'm delighted to be back at WM in a great time-slot."
