Byline: DEAR coleen
I've just read the letter from the young woman who lost her sister to suicide (Dear Coleen, April 22).
You were right to say that she needs help to confront her grief.
I would highly recommend the organisation Survivors of Bereavement By Suicide, which she can contact via its helpline on 0044 300 111 5065, or through the website at uk-sobs.org.uk.
The grief you feel losing someone to suicide is a different kind of grief, causing many complex emotions, and the counsellors, most of whom have personal experience, are invaluable in their understanding and support.
This issue is very close to my heart, and if I can help someone else going through such grief and confusion, then I feel that not all is in vain.
