tried & tested.
There's nothing like a good old scrub to liven up a lacklustre complexion. Our testers tried out three of them The Body Shop Vitamin C Microdermabrasion, PS15 (thebody shop.com) THIS has to be one of the grittiest home scrubs I have tried and about as close as you would get to a salon microdermabrasion. My skin had been looking dull after coming back from holiday but definitely looked brighter after a couple of uses. You wouldn't want Y to use it too often though as it might be a litle harsh on skin. Rating Elemis Gentle Rose Exfoliator, PS30, John Lewis THIS smells and feels lovely. It's not too rough and my skin felt so smooth immediately after the first use. You Y could probably use this a few times a week because it is so gentle. It is not cheap though. Rating St Ives Timeless Skin Daily Microdermabrasion Face Scrub, PS4.99, Boots FOR affordable face scrubs the guys at St Ives really know what they are doing but cheap does not mean second rate. With its micro-fine mineral crystals, this scrubbed my face clean without leaving it feeling sensitive. It made no difference to my fine lines but my skin felt smoother after a few weeks of use.
