tried & tested; EGG POACHERS.
These are little rubber egg cups that are easy to use and just as easy to store away after. All you do is coat the silicone pods with a little bit of oil, then crack your egg into it and float in boiling water. When cooked, flip the pod inside out and pop out your egg. I like that it has various other uses - for example, it can also be used for baking or as a jelly mould. Simple and easy and cheap, too.

Porcelain egg coddlers
I like this idea. All you do is put a dod of butter in the cup, break in an egg, add salt and pepper if required, pop on the stainless steel lids and stand them in the boiling water for a few minutes. The eggs are then ready to eat, straight from the pot. Quick, simple, easy to use and makes lovely eggs.

This egg boiler looks like a giant stainless steel egg. It's perfect for the whole family as it can make a maximum of seven boiled eggs and just the way you like them - whether soft, hard or medium. It's also an egg poacher and can poach up to three eggs.
Easy to use, there's a straightforward on/off switch and a tone that tells you when your eggs are done.

Wahl electric egg boiler
From the James Martin Collection, this is another gadget that lets you boil up to seven eggs in the one go and also lets you boil them soft, medium or hard. I like that this gadget is small and compact, doesn't take up a lot of room on the worktop or for storage, does the job and makes a perfect boiled egg with minimum fuss.

Tefal Toast 'n' Egg
It's hard to beat a good old-fashioned breakfast of boiled egg and soldiers but sometimes it's a bit of a faff waiting for water to boil and timing your toast. So here's an invention that does them both. It's a toaster with the addition of an egg poacher/boiler and everything is ready at the same time.
It poaches a single egg or boils up to four, soft, medium or hard. A nice little breakfast gadget.
