thought for the day.
If you want to get a message across - keep it simple.
Jesus certainly kept his message simple - "Love one another" (John 13:34). This short, simple command was so important that he repeated it again and again (John 15:12,17) and told his disciples that this was his only command. Yet we find this command very difficult to follow. He doesn't ask us to like everyone - that's impossible - but he does ask us to love everyone. There are lots of examples in the Bible of what is meant by 'love'; the parable of the Good Samaritan being one.
We don't have to complicate our lives with lots of rules - just K.I.S.S. and love one another.
