this week: 10 questions; Rachel Brown, 35, is hotel manager at 62 Castle Street.

Byline: Rachel Brown

Philosophy of life: Everything happens for a reason and it will always work out well in the end.

Idea of happiness: To feel safe, secure and loved.

Most memorable moment: Seeing my Dad at Fuerteventura Airport looking so well after being given only six months to live.

Ideal weekend: Fresh air, good food, peace, relaxation, snuggles on the sofa with the man in my life and my phone not ringing.

Biggest regret: No regrets, all experiences are character building.

Favourite film/book: Anything that moves me to laughter or tears - but far too many favourites to pick just one.

Best advice you've been given: Never anticipate anything in life. People will always surprise you.

Hero or heroine: My mum for her strength and laughter and my dad for all his wise words.

What happens next: We all meet up and have a good party!

Where will you be in ten years' time?: Hopefully settled with my own family and blissfully happy.
