the Razz: I' M THE BIG TIME.

X FACTOR star Maria Lawson has a problem with X - ray machines, and it's all because of her undies.

The gorgeous singer, who was dumped from the last series in favour of the cheesy Conway Sisters, blames her ample bust for the constant security scares because she needs an extra support bra. "I'm larger than average so I need supportive underwiring staff should be used to seeing the shape of the wires in bras."

Maria released her first solo single Sleepwalking this week and is looking forward to her debut album going on sale in two weeks.

She said: "I wanted to make this album very personal. It documents my life and is about love and heartbreak."

And her curvy figure earned her a contract with underwear company Bravissimo who signed her up for a new campaign.

Maria famously lost out on her attempt to win X Factor when judge Louis Walsh plumped for the Irish Conway Sisters - but she is having the last laugh. The Conway Sisters have broken up and Maria has remained friendly with the show's other judges, Sharon Osbourne and Simon Cowell.

As X Factor gets ready to start again this weekend, Maria said: "I had an incredible time and it changed my life in many ways. I made it down to the 12 finalists out of 75,000 people and that was such an achievement.

"The talent was incredible but it would have been nice to last longer.

"If Sharon had had her way I probably would have lasted longer. We are still in touch and she was so thrilled to hear that the album's finished and it's coming out. She is just a very beautiful lady.

"We were given an amazing opportunity but it's what you go on to do after that's the hard part. When I look at Lemar (of Fame Academy) and American Idol's Kelly Clarkson it really inspires me.

"I've been a backing singer and writing songs for years and determination kept me going."
