ANIS JOLLY, of Voice Of Bolton - The Independent Bolton Wanderers FC Fansite, gives his lowdown on today's opponents.

Two league games and two defeats, what seems to be the trouble at the Reebok at the moment? We have a good squad and these players are capable of upsetting any team they play, however the problem is we haven't managed to get the tactics right at all, there has been no consistency in performances, players are probably feeling frustrated and we have made some rather dubious signings over the last two seasons.

All this points to one person - Gary Megson (right). Realistically what are your expectations for the season? To avoid relegation and not get dragged into the dreaded bottom of the table scrap. It's going to be a very tough season and if we look at the performances in the first two league games, it's already very much predictable that this season is going to be the same as the previous two.

It all seems to have gone wrong since the departure of Sam Allardyce, Would you welcome him back as manager? Sam was and will be a legend here at Bolton and I would certainly welcome him back to the club. However, the relationship between the Chairman and Sam has somewhat tarnished since his departure and I can't see him returning to the club in the near future.

A lot of people are saying Bolton are going to struggle for goals this season, would you go along with that, and if not where are your goals coming from? I can certainly see that happening as we are depending more and more on our midfield to bag some goals. We're missing that spark upfront (since the departure of Anelka) and we desperately need that spark to share the goal-getting responsibility and give us a better chance to get the goals we need - and the chance for a quicker survival.

Liverpool have made a poor start to the season, are you expecting a bit of a backlash on Saturday? I watched the second half of the Liverpool v Villa game on Monday and the game was VERY intense. If Liverpool come out like that on Saturday then we're really going to struggle! I honestly can't see us winning the game on Saturday. Which, if any, Liverpool player would you like to sign at the Reebok? It would have to be Fernando Torres (above).
